Yellow Tent Initiative by Scientology Volunteer Ministers Reaches Milan

MILAN, Italy — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have set up their iconic yellow tent in Milan, offering a public, walk-up space for hands-on assistance and one-to-one guidance, alongside simple “Tools for Life” techniques that can be applied to real-life difficulties. More details are available here: Scientology Europe report.

Already seen in major cities such as New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn simple steps for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well as support after personal emergencies.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory courses covering communication, study and learning methods, interpersonal relations and problem-solving. The approach is personal and practical: identify the issue and offer a step that can be used immediately.

In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have also assisted during flooding in the Marche region (2022) and Romagna (2023), working with local services and civil-protection partners to help remove mud and debris and restore access.

In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation efforts and support for families in need. Organisers say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including over 160 consecutive Saturdays of community clean-up and support, extending across all nine municipalities of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as sending essential goods to Ukraine.

Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, said: “Across Europe, communities grow stronger when citizens are equipped to help each other in news eu elections practical ways—calmly, respectfully and without prejudice. Their work reflects a civic principle: support starts with listening and providing tools that help people regain the ability to act and contribute.”
